Graduated May 2007, magna cum laude, from RIC with a BA in English. Currently enrolled in MA program for English, graduating May 2010.
Experience
Worked independently with several students from grades 5-12 on writing techniques and tactics. Also have lead study groups to students for improving study and organizational skills. I have taken two separate courses at the graduate level that are relevent to teaching: Teaching Composition Theory and Practice and Teaching Creative Writing. I have a language background in both German and Italian and would be more than capable of tutoring either language through the secondary level.
