I have taken two separate courses at the graduate level that are relevent to teaching: Teaching Composition Theory and Practice and Teaching Creative Writing. I have been working with children for fifteen years both as a tutor and a coach. I understand the delicate balance needed for athletes to maintain between their sport/s and academics. I have coached competitive gymnastics for over ten years and fully believe that the same dedication one can dedicate toward a sport can be harnessed and duplicated in academia if given the right circumstances. No child is without hope...I believe in all of them.
